GLASA is a founding member of the USA Wheelchair Football League (USAWFL) made possible by the NFL/BWF Salute to Service Program and Move United. The USAWFL is the first of its kind football league for injured Veterans and adults with disabilities to reach their highest potential through this competitive, fast-paced, team sport. The USAWFL builds skills and inspires athletes to excel both on and off the field through teamwork, dedication, and resilience.

Wheelchair football players will work on quick and powerful movements, such as cutting, blocking, sprinting and tackling (two-hand touch) that will assist with building cardiovascular and muscular strength. Sports chairs are available upon request.
