SUMMARY:Camp Trek
DESCRIPTION:Camp Trek is our annual adaptive sports day camp that introduces youth with disabilities to sport and recreation activities in an inclusive setting. The focus of this camp is to provide recreational experiences for youth with physical or visual disabilities that will spark interest and a desire to play recreationally or competitively. \nHow To Participate\nYouth are paired one-on-one with a volunteer camp counselor\, and together they participate in adaptive sports like tennis\, basketball\, softball\, kayaking and yoga. \nImportant Dates\nGLASA Camp Trek takes place one week each summer in Lake County\, Illinois. \n\nAugust 3\, 2026 – August 7\, 2026\, 9am-3pm each day\nOak Grove Elementary School
